Bizet’s Habanera

Delibes’ Flower Duet

Mozart’s Turkish March

Product Description

These five trios are recognizable themes cleverly adapted for flute, clarinet, and piano. They are perfect for collegiate ensembles or professional trios. Some of the arrangements are accessible to exceptional high school musicians.

Chopin’s Prelude in E minor is a gorgeous and hypnotic ballad. The theme is split between flute and clarinet, while the piano plays flushed out voicings based upon the original work’s left hand.

Bizet’s Habanera is from one of the greatest operas of all time, Carmen. This work is both highly recognizable and satisfying to perform.

Scott Joplin’s Entertainer defines ragtime piano. The arrangement captures the jaunty, playful dance style of the original while introducing some new harmonies.

Delibes’ Flower Duet is a delicate arrangement including the recitative from the original opera, LamkĆ©. Originally a duet for sopranos and orchestral accompaniment, this trio captures the beauty and complexity of the original score.

Mozart’s Turkish March is one of the most familiar melodies in all of Classical literature. This trio adaptation is a clever exercise in changing textures.
